A group for pianists, piano teachers and piano students in the San Antonio area to meet up, socialize, cooperate on projects and share knowledge in the field of piano playing. We also welcome other solo instrumentalists and vocalists interested in cooperating with pianists.
Austin Urban Sketchers was formed as a way for artists to get together and draw our city. This group was inspired by Urban Sketchers.org, an international organization that gathers people to draw and tell the visual stories they observe on location. Artists of all levels are welcomed in the group. Launch was Valentines Day, 2010. A group of dance enthusiasts had their foundation meeting in January, 2010, and started this group for novices and experienced dancers. Just fun, happy people who want to share the activity. We are a Square and Line Dance club. We have Beginner dances starting in January each year.
